The restaurant, The Charter Oak, was founded in 2017 by the American chef, They goals were to present the intense flavors of the Napa Valley in a simple, traditional and authentic way. They work with local ingredients, and instead of overdecorated, flaky foods, they serve seasonal dishes cooked on charcoal.
The central element of the restaurant is the huge stove designed by Kostow, where delicious fried meats are made, while the fragrances pass through the room bounded by brick walls.
Of course, not only the meats but also the vegetables come from the place, the restaurant has its own farmhouse or culinary yard. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes under the open air, in which case the cooks prepare the meals on a special outdoor grill.
