Most of the time James Bond leads Aston Martin in the movies, and the British manufacturer is quoting the 50th anniversary of ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ DBS Superleggera Limited Edition Special Edition.
James Bond has been chasing the bad guys at the cinema since 1962 and is not remembered for this, but Aston Martin recalls his seventh film, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, presented in 1969. This was the first and final part of the event where George Lazenby took over the position of Sean Connery, and if he didn’t make a lasting actor, it would be worth remembering his car.
It was the fastest four-seat car in its age. The copy of James Bond is olive green and is similar to that of Aston Martin’s Special Edition 007, which is based on the company’s latest pride, DBS Superleggera.
