Monaco is the second smallest country in the world, famous for its gambling games and car races. But what kind of fun does this little place give? Let’s say and show it!
Saint Nicholas Cathedral
St. Nicholas Cathedral Monaco’s first Catholic church, built in the 13th century and destroyed in the 19th century, is now known as the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady.
Rest here Grimaldi family, including Grace Kelly and III King Rainier.
Plage du Larvotto
Plage du Larvotto Monaco is the most popular and really the only one beach. Some sections of the public beach in Monaco are free, while others are only available for pay.
The beach is just a few kilometers away from Monte Carlo. Avenue Princess Grace runs along the beach.
In the harbor of Monaco’s second oldest town, La Condamine, you can admire the royal ship belonging to the Duke of Monaco.
The five hundred-spaces harbor is set in a truly fascinating place. We can relax in one of the beach cafe, where you can enjoy the beautiful yacht and the glorious scenery.
Monaco-Ville, also known as Le Rocher, was built on a rocky land in the Mediterranean, and its history dates back to the 6th century BC when the Greeks founded a colony here.
Monaco’s most famous monument in Monaco-Ville is the Prince’s Palace, the Oceanographic Museum and the St Martin Gardens.
The Prince’s Palace is the official home of the country’s leaders, the Grimaldi family, whose current head is II. Prince Albert, son of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier. Prince Rainier renewed it, so he is waiting for publicity from June to October every year.
The interior courtyard features a three-million-gravel geometric shape and several historical genoa frescoes.
The Jardin Exotique is a must-see for plant lovers. The botanical garden, built on the rock side, boasts over a thousand succulent plants, most of which are cactus.
The garden is home to the Museum of Anthropology, as there are more remains from the ancient people. From the garden, you can take great panoramic photos of Monaco and the harbor.
